How we can help

Which sounds like your situation?

Pick the closest match and we'll start your free consultation request with it selected. Not sure? That's fine — use the last card.

How it proceeds

Four stages. No surprises.

Most cases are won in preparation, long before anyone takes the stand. Here's the order the work runs in.

01

Case assessment

Your documents, the other side's exposure, the legal merits and the realistic range of outcomes. We won't promise you a result.

02

Pre-litigation pressure

Demand letters, negotiation and mediation resolve many disputes before court — faster and for less.

03

Litigation execution

Tight pleadings, thorough discovery, motions that count, and cross-examination that tests the other side.

04

Judgment & enforcement

A judgment still has to be collected — garnishment and asset enforcement where the other side won't pay.

Stage one starts with a conversation.Tell us what happened and we'll assess the merits and your options.

FAQ

Before you call

General information only — every dispute turns on its own facts.

How long do I have to start a claim in Ontario?

Most civil claims in Ontario are subject to a basic two-year limitation period from when the claim was discovered, with some exceptions. Speak to a lawyer early so the deadline doesn't decide the case for you.

Do I have to go to court?

Not necessarily. Many disputes resolve through demand letters, negotiation or mediation. We assess whether pre-litigation pressure is likely to work before recommending a lawsuit.

What should I bring to the first consultation?

Contracts, invoices, emails, texts, photos or court documents related to the dispute, plus a short timeline of what happened.

What if I win but they don't pay?

A judgment can be enforced through garnishment of wages or bank accounts, writs of seizure and sale, and other enforcement tools. We plan for this from the start.

Can you act urgently?

Yes. Where assets may be moved or evidence lost, we can seek an injunction or preservation order on short notice.
